IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not submerge the unit or its accessories in any liquid. Unit is
water resistant but not waterproof.
Store in a clean dry place when not in use
Protect LED lens from damage and scratching
Administer close supervision when using around children
This LED Work Light features a high-powered Epistar LED and rechargeable lithium ion battery to allow you
to work indoors or out when power isn’t available. An optional Metal Stand (#8715) is available for elevating
the light with up to two Work Lights.
PARTS IDENTIFICATION
CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
120V AC OR 12V DC Charging (adapters included):
1. Plug the DC output plug from either adapter into the DC IN PORT of the unit and then plug the 120V
AC or the 12V DC adapter into the appropriate electrical socket (depending on which charger is being
used).
2. Unplug chargers after a full charge is achieved (about 4-6 hours).
3. Can also be operated directly from the chargers.
Solar Charging (based on Sierra Wave #9505/#9510):
1. Connect the included 12V DC vehicle charger as stated above.
2. Connect the 12V male plug to the Barrel Power Adapter provided with the solar collector and then plug
the other end into the marked 15V port of the solar collector.
3. Place the solar collector and Work Light in direct sunlight and follow other instructions included with
the solar collector.
4. Solar charging will be most effective on a bright sunny day.
Battery Storage Centers (based on #9660 Sierra Wave Power Cell or Max Burton #6994 Power Center)
1. Connect using the included 12V DC vehicle charger and follow the instructions provided with your
power center.
2. #9660: use with the Barrel Power Adapter included with the Power Cell
3. #6994: connect directly to the Power Center’s 12V DC power receptacle
WORK LIGHT OPERATION
1. The Work Light may be used with the included STAND-ALONE BASE or with the optional Work Light
Metal Stand #8715 (sold separately)
2. To attach it to the BASE, remove the MOUNTING BOLT and place the light on top, aligning the hole in
the mounting bracket to the hole in the base and replace the bolt by finger tightening them securely.
No tools are required.
3. Toggle the ON/OFF switch to () for ON and () for off.
4. Adjust the angle of the light by grasping the PADDED HANDLE and tilting the face of the Work Light up
and down or swiveling right to left.
5. To attach to the Metal Stand, remove the BASE from the Work Light and attach it to the METAL STAND
MOUNTING BRACKET on the STAND using the same mounting instructions as for the BASE. Up to
two Work Lights may be attached to the STAND. The height of the lights may be adjusted from 2½ to
5 feet. The METAL STAND MOUNTING BRACKET may also be used as a floor or table top base.
